West Navigator
Access to cranes
The installation of three new cranes on the West Navigator drillship required the design and installation of new stairs to provide access to the cranes, as the new access platform level was different from the old one. The crane foundations had to be modified by installing additional pedestal adapters. The strength analysis also showed that the main deck had to be reinforced to accommodate the new stair structure.
