Exchange of X-ray analyser with associated infrastructure
The aim of the project was to develop an elemental analysis system for the flotation pool together with the accompanying installations and the necessary building infrastructure. The NAVIC team handled tasks from concept through construction design to multi-discipline detailed design. New installations and structural elements had to be designed to ensure continuity of production. The scope of the project included design:
– The system for transporting samples to the analyzer;
– a system for draining the medium from the analyzer;
– a flushing system for the sample transport system;
– the compressed air system for the Control and Measurement Instruments and Automation;
– a utility building inside the hall (a container for the analyzer) together with water and sewage, sanitary and ventilation and air-conditioning installations;
– a utility building outside the hall for new pumps;
– supporting structures for pipelines and equipment;
– new communication platforms together with modernization of existing ones;
– electrical installations and control and measurement instruments and automation systems accompanying the process of sludge analysis.
